What to expect

• We entrust you with the analysis, design, and implementation of automations along the DevOps toolchain (CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure-as-code)
• You will take over the further development and optimization of Jira workflows in close collaboration with the specialist departments and project teams, and develop custom Jira plugins and extensions (e.g., with Java, Atlassian SDK)
• You will contribute to the integration of Jira with other tools and systems (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins)
• Advising internal teams on the use and configuration of Jira and DevOps tools will make your area of responsibility varied
• You are responsible for the documentation, testing, and quality assurance of the developed solutions
  

What sets you apart

• You have a completed degree in computer science or comparable qualifications, and your professional experience in software development has convinced us
• You have excellent knowledge of Jakarta EE (formerly Java EE) and Groovy, and good knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Atlassian Jira, containers, Ansible), and bring experience with Atlassian Jira – especially in plugin development and workflow customization
• You have knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience in shell and Python scripting is an advantage
• You impress with a structured, independent way of working, team spirit, strong communication skills, and high problem-solving competence

We offer a gross minimum annual salary according to the service regulations A for employees at the Austrian social insurance institutions on a full-time basis starting from EUR 46,918.20 (no all-in contracts); depending on professional qualifications and experience, previous service periods can be credited and significantly increase your actual salary.
