Linux System Engineer (m/f/d)

These tasks await you

You will be independently responsible for everything related to the operation of our Linux applications, including:

• performing updates and release changes
• automating configuration and installation tasks
• developing monitoring concepts (in collaboration with responsible colleagues)
• creating and maintaining documentation as well as
• troubleshooting and support

Additionally, you will work on projects for evaluating, integrating, and deploying new installations.

What you bring to the table

For this position, we are looking for someone with in-depth practical knowledge of Linux. How you gained this expertise—whether professionally or through hobby projects—is less important, as long as you master your craft!

In any case, you should:

• have experience in setting up, monitoring, and administering Linux systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat)
• be familiar with web server technologies (Apache) and database systems (MariaDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• have an interest in container technologies (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes) and
• possess very good German language skills (at least B2 level).

It is an advantage if you also:

• have experience with the configuration, monitoring, and optimization of Apache 2.4 HTTP servers and the configuration of Java applications
• hold Linux, ITIL, or other relevant certifications and
• have already worked in a similar position.
