To ensure our railway system functions smoothly, thousands of switches must operate reliably. We inspect, maintain, and repair them throughout their entire lifespan. Your Job
- As a Track Maintenance Technician, you will support the execution of inspection activities as well as maintenance, construction, and repair work in the track area (including switches, switch components, and tracks).
- You will assist in assessing the required materials and equipment and keep auxiliary records for construction reports, performance records, inspection logs, etc.
- If necessary, after completing the appropriate training, you will handle various safety tasks.
- You will ensure strict adherence to all guidelines and instructions.
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a technical education (technical college, apprenticeship).
- Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to work nights and occasionally on weekends are required for this position.
- You are eager to advance professionally, learn new skills (railway technology), and take on responsibility.
- You possess the necessary physical and mental fitness, including track suitability (determined upon hiring), and hold a category B driving licence.
- Ideally, you have completed mandatory military or alternative service (for male applicants) or hold an exemption certificate.
Our Offer
- For the position of "Track Maintenance Technician," a minimum gross annual salary of €42,807.10 is provided for a 38.5-hour workweek. Willingness to pay above the minimum salary exists.
- Depending on the role and assignment, you may receive a travel allowance of €560 gross per month.
