Your Job

  • You manage and coordinate projects in the field of mechanical plants, with a special focus on compliance with legal inspection obligations and the standards-compliant implementation of requirements for measuring equipment and calibrations.
  • You develop and establish guidelines for inspections and maintenance in accordance with relevant standards, laws, and regulations, ensuring their sustainable implementation.
  • You are responsible for the professional further development of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module, analyze optimization potential, and coordinate the resolution of system deviations in collaboration with the relevant departments.
  • You initiate, create, and update IMS documents and actively contribute to the further development of standards and processes in plant management.
  • You monitor the implementation of inspections, measures, and regulatory requirements, analyze deviations, and initiate appropriate improvement measures together with the responsible departments.
  • You analyze technical and legal risks associated with the legally compliant provision of structural and mechanical infrastructure and develop sustainable measures to minimize risks.
  • If required, you ensure the assessment of plants with regard to safety requirements as well as employer and owner obligations, and derive recommendations for action from this.
  • You coordinate the inspection of plants to ensure their operation complies with official permits and support compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You develop meaningful analyses and reports based on SAP data and derive decision-making bases for management and specialist departments.
  • You monitor relevant developments in the field of plant safety and employee protection, introduce new requirements into the organization, and continuously further develop your expertise through targeted training measures.

Your Profile

  • We look forward to getting to know you if you have a completed technical or legal university degree and/or a successful technical college (HTL) degree and several years of industry-specific professional experience.
  • You are familiar with maintenance strategies and operational processes in production companies. Experience in the rail vehicle sector or a comparable company is valuable, and knowledge in the field of plant management is an advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of Office and SAP is required for the job and is therefore an advantage.
  • You are characterized by a strong ability to solve problems independently and a willingness to resolve conflicts.
  • You enjoy working with colleagues and convince through strong communication skills with various target groups.

Our Offer

  • For the position of "Expert in Plant Safety Technology," the collective agreement for employees of Austrian railway companies provides for a minimum salary of €60,150.16 gross per year for a working time of 38.5 hours per week. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, a higher salary is possible, and this position includes an all-in agreement with the option of flexitime.
