Your job, your opportunity

  • As a skilled worker, you will carry out the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of superstructure and substructure facilities, including tracks, sleepers, ballast, drainage systems, and tunnels.
  • You will also participate in large-scale construction sites, such as station renovations, accompany track-laying machines, and assist in monitoring woodland areas, clearing vegetation, snow removal, and protecting railway facilities from natural hazards such as rockfall or storm damage.
  • Furthermore, you will operate and drive the vehicles and machinery required for construction. The necessary training to become a train driver will be provided as part of your employment.
  • You will provide technical guidance to employees, ensure compliance with all regulations, and take on safety tasks as needed. Additionally, you will assess the material and equipment requirements, maintain inspection logs, construction reports, and performance records.

  • A completed apprenticeship or vocational school in a skilled trade or technical field forms the basis for this position.
