Your tasks – exciting and varied:
- In 52 varied weeks, a comprehensive training program prepares you specifically for your future role as a train driver.
- During the training, valuable driving experience is gained – both in the state-of-the-art ÖBB simulator and directly on the tracks.
- The training provides you with all the theoretical, practical and safety-related knowledge required for the profession.
- Upon successfully passing the final exam, you will acquire the train driver’s licenses for classes A and B.
- After successfully completing the training, you will transport passengers and goods safely, punctually and reliably to their destination.
What you bring – our expectations:
- You have completed vocational training, and you will be at least 19 years old at the start of the course.
- You have already completed your mandatory military or alternative civilian service, or you are exempt from it.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, enable safe, friendly and professional communication with passengers and colleagues.
- You have good physical fitness as well as good vision and hearing.
- You can easily reconcile shift work (including night, weekend and public holiday duties) with your personal life and environment.

- Additionally, performance-related supplementary payments (averaging €500 gross per month, excluding overtime) are offered.
