Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory: You will advise the executive management on restructuring and risk-related matters. You will lead the local legal team and ensure compliance with global policies.
• Contract & Transaction Management: You will be responsible for the global standardization of contracts and the legal oversight of M&A projects, joint ventures, and due diligence processes.
• Regulatory & Compliance: You will ensure adherence to complex requirements in export control (dual-use), data protection (GDPR), and cross-border capital flows.
• Employment Law: You will handle management labor law and collaborate confidently with the Austrian works council.

Your Profile

• Education: Law degree in the DACH region; admission to the Austrian bar is preferred.
• Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in an international law firm or as a senior in-house counsel in the industry.
• Expertise: Proven track record in complex M&A transactions and in-depth knowledge of export control, GDPR, and Austrian employment law.
• Languages: Native-level German (mandatory) and fluent business English.
