Your Role

As a Design Engineer, you are part of an engineering team and work on the development and design of machinery and automated plants.

The focus of your work lies on mechanical design and detailed elaboration of technical solutions. At the same time, you contribute your technical expertise to conceptual considerations within the team.

Your Tasks

Mechanical Design

• Design of machinery and plants
• Creation of 3D models, assemblies, and detailed designs
• Dimensioning of mechanical components and interfaces
• Integration of sensors, actuators, and mechanical components into plants
• Technical coordination with electrical engineering, automation, and production

Technical Development

• Further development of existing machinery and assemblies
• Constructive elaboration of technical solutions in plant engineering
• Support of prototypes, tests, and technical optimizations
• Collaboration in the further development of machinery and plant concepts

What You Should Bring

Professional

• Education in mechanical engineering (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university)
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design in machinery or plant construction
• Excellent CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent)
• Experience with automation technology, sensors, or actuators
• Experience with non-metallic materials is a plus
• German at least B2, English at least B1
