Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Oversee account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data related to the company’s manufacturing operations.
• Assist in coordinating external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain the general ledger and manage account postings and journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve internal controls and accounting processes.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management to support decision-making.
• Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations impacting the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Certified Accountant or equivalent accounting certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian accounting principles and international standards (IFRS preferred).
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
