AEIST Lisbon 2026, taking place on April 29 and 30, brings together highly qualified students from technical disciplines with national and international companies and serves as a central platform for academic exchange and career guidance.
The Associação dos Estudantes do Instituto Superior Técnico (AEIST), founded in 1911, is one of the largest and most influential student associations in Portugal, consistently organizing high-impact academic and career-oriented events. The event taking place in Lisbon on April 29–30 follows this tradition, drawing on the scale of similar AEIST initiatives such as its flagship job fair, which typically gathers 60–70 companies and over 2,000 students, including a significant proportion of final-year participants.
Attendees predominantly come from highly technical fields, including civil, mechanical, electrical and computer engineering, as well as information technology and applied sciences, ensuring a strong alignment with industry needs. These figures highlight the event’s credibility and importance as a key platform connecting top-tier academic talent with leading national and international organizations.
