Our client is a highly successful company in photovoltaic (headquarter in Austria) and develops, realises, finances and manages globally alternative investments in the strong photovoltaic growth sector, creating a sustainable value creation. In one of the divers international locations - in this case in Bucharest / Romania the following position is available:

Project Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR JOB:

• You will be responsible for overseeing projects across multiple sites, comprehensive budget tracking, forecasting and managing assigned solar projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, producing positive, clear, concise and transparent reports for the site manager.
• You will be responsible for approved projects, seeing them through all stages from planning permission, RTB status and construction to connection to the national grid and commissioning
• You are responsible for the relationship with authorities, TSOs, national grid operators and consultants in all phases of the project
• You will be responsible for ensuring that the project complies with the licensing requirements, national grid connection procedures, applicable laws and standards, company technical requirements and international technical standards
• You will manage the construction permits required for the project as a prerequisite for the start of the project and liaise with the authorities and electricity grid operators
• You will manage the contracts and ensure that the EPC contractor complies with all contractual obligations
• You will undertake site reconnaissance to review local conditions affecting design and construction and determine project specific requirements
• You will ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and standards
• You are the site manager's support in defining the technical requirements and scope of work of the EPC construction contracts, associated facilities and project specific agreements
  

YOUR SKILLS:
• You have a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering
• You are proficiency level of English and Rumanian, German language is a plus
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in the solar industry, proven record of positive and increasing levels of responsibility, job complexity and management performance
• You contribute knowledge of multidisciplinary activities in the construction industry: Electrical, mechanical, civil, HSEQ, environmental
• You have a knowledge of the national and international technical standards for the construction sector and for photovoltaic systems
• You possess knowledge of the costs of the local market for construction-related activities and of the budgeting of construction projects
• You bring knowledge of the connection procedures to the national high and extra high voltage grid with the national TSO/DSB grid operators is a plus
• You are knowledgeable about the approval process for photovoltaic plants and the local procedure for obtaining construction permits
• You have experience in negotiating and managing EPC solar construction contracts
