Responsibilites
- Development and implementation of new manufacturing equipment integrations using Industry 4.0/IoT based software solutions
- Analyze equipment behavior and work independently on complex requirements, specifications and implementations
- Coordinate with internal customers and external equipment vendors
- Documentation and planning of equipment integration software solution projects
- Maintain and further development of existing equipment integration software solutions based on industry standards as SECS/GEM, OPC, MQTT
- Continuous improvement of existing equipment integration software solutions
Your Profile
- 5+ years working experience as Equipment Integration Specialist or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in the field of smart automation, smart production and management, computer science, software engineering, automation, electrical & electronics engineering
- Excellent knowledge and experience:
- At least of one programming language like: C#/NET/TypeScript/Node.js
- Working with databases such as MS SQL
- Implementing Industry 4.0 / IoT based projects
- Features:
- Experience with communication protocols such as SECS/GEM, OPC UA/DA, MQTT
- Experience in integrating manufacturing equipment to host systems such as MES or SCADA
- Test-Driven development methodology
- Excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teams
- Excellent organizational time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
