Job Responsibilities
The position sits within Lam’s Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) which focuses significant attention on delivering solutions that meet our customers' technical requirements as well as productivity needs during the equipment lifecycle. Main responsibilities include development and investigation of new wafer clean processes and necessary hardware, and to support Joint Development Projects with customers.
As a process engineer you will be responsible for executing process development plans. You will benefit from a robust training and development program, equipping you with the necessary skills to lead development activities, enabling you to characterize hardware/process interactions and process windows. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and characterize new wafer clean wet processes
- Define and execute test plans to reach customer success requirements
- Define processing and equipment requirements and specifications
- Define new hardware features to improve process perfomance
- Set up new processes and applications on customer site
Qualifications
- M.Sc or Ph.D Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field of study
- Fundamental knowledge of chemistry is advantageous
- Knowledge of design of experiments and statistical analysis is advantageous
- Systematic, methodical approach to solving technical challenges
- Technical knowledge of process/engineering disciplines
- Ability to exercise independent judgement applying scientific and technical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
