Free movement of workers applies in the European Union. All EU citizens have free access to the Austrian labor market. Here you will find detailed information on visa exemption and residence rights for the EU, EEA countries and Switzerland.
When applying, you should always send a CV, training certificates, job references and a letter of motivation to the potential employer. It is also advisable to send a photo. Here you will find tips and tricks for a successful application.
Register for free in the corporate area; the following data is required for this:
- Name
- Phone number
- Business email address
- Company name
- Company website
- Company address
You will then receive an email with a confirmation link. You have a total of 48 hours to click on the link before it expires. With another e-mail you will receive your access data after 2 working days at the latest.
You can then log in to your company profile with your email address and the password that was sent.
After registering in the corporate division, you can post new jobs online under "Job offers" and put expired job advertisements inactive or delete them. Adding new jobs is even faster if you use job advertisements as templates.
If you have a large number of vacancies to fill, there is also the option of creating an interface to the ABA - Work in Austria job board. In this case, please contact workinaustria[at]aba.gv.at.
ABA - Work in Austria cooperates with the following recruitment agencies and job boards:

If you fill your vacancies in cooperation with one of these companies, the advertisements can also be played on the ABA - Work in Austria job exchange and thus achieve even more international reach.
Apparently another person from your company has already registered on the ABA - Work in Austria job platform. This person can easily create you as an additional user for your company.
Please ask in your company who has registered as an administrator for the ABA - Work in Austria job platform. If you cannot find this person, we will be happy to help you. Please contact workinaustria[at]aba.gv.at.
Which ads are particularly promising? If you would like to address international specialists and knowledge of German is not absolutely necessary for the exercise of the profession, formulate your advertisements in English.
These job offers will then be displayed on the English version of the ABA - Work in Austria job board.
