The ABA - Work in Austria job board offers international specialists a platform to look for suitable jobs in Austria.

Register for free in the corporate area; the following data is required for this:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Business email address
  • Company name
  • Company website
  • Company address

You will then receive an email with a confirmation link. You have a total of 48 hours to click on the link before it expires. With another e-mail you will receive your access data after 2 working days at the latest.

You can then log in to your company profile with your email address and the password that was sent.

After registering in the corporate division, you can post new jobs online under "Job offers" and put expired job advertisements inactive or delete them. Adding new jobs is even faster if you use job advertisements as templates.

If you have a large number of vacancies to fill, there is also the option of creating an interface to the ABA - Work in Austria job board. In this case, please contact workinaustria[at]aba.gv.at.

It is a free service from the Austrian Business Agency for Austrian companies that want to recruit professionals abroad.

If you have forgotten your password, please simply click on "Forgot password?" in the user login. You will then receive an e-mail with a new password to your registered e-mail address.


In principle, you can publish all jobs on the ABA - Work in Austria job exchange. The following information about job openings is mandatory:

  • Job title
  • Job description
  • Field of activity
  • Branch
  • Type of employment
  • Place of employment
  • Link to online application or application contact

If you fill your vacancies in cooperation with one of these companies, the advertisements can also be played on the ABA - Work in Austria job exchange and thus achieve even more international reach.

Apparently another person from your company has already registered on the ABA - Work in Austria job platform. This person can easily create you as an additional user for your company.

You will get a meaningful profile if you add a detailed company description in German and English. You also have the option to upload a cover photo or video. Note: If you upload video AND picture, the video will be displayed. The uploaded image will then be used as the preview image for the video.

Which ads are particularly promising? If you would like to address international specialists and knowledge of German is not absolutely necessary for the exercise of the profession, formulate your advertisements in English.

These job offers will then be displayed on the English version of the ABA - Work in Austria job board.

You can enter an expiration date when entering the job offers. If you do not do this and do not delete the offer yourself, it will be removed from the platform after 6 months.

The protection of your company and personal data is very important to us. That is why we carefully check every registration. This review can take up to 2 working days. Then at the latest you will receive your access data and can use your company profile.

Yes, under "Company profile - add user" you can also add colleagues to your company profile.

Your registration with the job exchange will be automatically deleted after 48 hours if you have not confirmed it with click on the confirmation link.
